Hello Stars,
I promised pictures of my ride and here they are, the car is not 100% finished, but it is back on the road and the small stuff has to wait....
The car was stored for over 24years when I bought it 5years ago.
I sanded all the paint to bare metal upper and under body and repainted the car in my barn with epoxy primer and midnight blue. The under body is covered with chassis black.
The blue interior is in mega good condition and I added power windows and a becker mexico with a CD changer in the trunk and stereo speakers in front and back.
I painted the front and rear end in chassis black and have all new bushings and rubber installed.
Also I have a set o H&R springs installed to lower the car....
The rims are original NOS AMG in 6.5x16 with an offset of 30, in the front with a 5mm spacer.
The engine block is just cleaned and painted (73.000mls)
Steering box, AC compressor and the Zenith's are 'fixed' with new seals....
Greetings
Oliver
These are some pictures of the restoration and when I bought the car:

Thank you Eirik,
I had the underbody down to bare metal and I sprayed Epoxy primer and a product they call 'Chassis Black satin'. It was very easy to spray.
It is not the original color but I have a driver not a show car... and this way I can see new forming rust faster.
Greetings to Norway
(one of the best places to be, I loved it)
I myself is going for powder-coating of the undercarriage. and hope to get some thinnerbased polyurethane-reinforced paint for the underside of the car.. _________________ Mercedes W115 200 1973

Pretty amazing, how you managed to get a W114 in Detroit that is this rust free is beyond me. I have 2 W114 280CE's. Both with 4 speed manual. I do not know of any other 4 speed injected 280CE's in the US other then mine.
One has lived some time in the Chicago area and has some pretty dire rust on it. I tried to jack the car up on the frame rail under the drivers seat and it caved in which has probably sealed it's fate as a parts car to the other 280CE which still has rust on the rear quarters, but otherwise solid.
